New World Energetics – a guided name
I originally named this site New World Energetics because of spiritual guidance. As a clair-audient, I heard the name and wrote it down.
On and off, I’ve wondered if I had the right name for the work I’m doing.
Thought bubbles up
One of the ways I’ve been working on explaining the concept of New World Energetics is to use something I call ‘Thought Bubbles’ to show how our energy works, why spiritual practice is important…why awareness of the language we use can be life-changing and how holistic health and wellness also plays a part in this picture.
After reading the first part of Pam Grout’s latest work E-Cubed: Nine More Energy Experiments That Prove Manifesting Magic and Miracles Is Your Full-Time Gig
and paying some attention to synchronicity once the wheels got to turning in my mind, out popped this Thought Bubble.
So what IS New World Energetics?
It’s definitely a paradigm shift! Using the many years of study and tapping into wisdom both ancient and modern I can clearly state that New World Energetics is a way forward for the human consciousness movement using…
- New Energy Psychology – wisdom both ancient and modern connecting and in some cases reconnecting us with chi, chakras, vital force and the Higher Self.
- The New Spiritual Movement – where many of us are beginning to understand that we truly are spiritual beings having a physical experience – how to practice and apply that in our everyday, incarnated lives?
- The New Health Movement – where we understand and allow that as scientific knowledge increases, so does our connection to the deep and ancient wisdom of the Earth. We can combine these methodologies so that people can have a broken leg fixed in a clean environment with pain management…and use homeopathy or essential oils to help clear an emotional issue in the same breath. We CAN have it all!
- The New Thought Movement – from Louise Hay, through Richard Bandler and beyond with New Thought Leaders like Iyanla Vanzant – we can truly see the mind-body-spirit connection between the Thoughts we think and the words we use – how thoughts and words can affect our internal chemistry and the actions, thoughts and words of others. And so it is.
And finally –
- the New Heart Movement. Many energy practitioners work with the heart chakra and the mind-body-heart connection to help people shift and move forward in their spiritual development. Amazing organizations such as the HeartMath Institute are showing us every day that the power of heart-centered living goes so much further than the simple definition of an organ which pumps blood and that the brain is often secondary in its’ understanding of the energy of love – that truly the heart is often the first place where real knowledge is stored and understood.
Our heart centers contain so much more wisdom than in the West we have recognized to date

We need to learn to think with our hearts and feel with our minds.
New World Energetics is a combination of all these disciplines applying knowledge both ancient and modern and helping us to move forward as we learn and grow.

Coaching for your Soul?
A little while ago I asked a few clients what they thought I do. I have worked with clients consistently now for the last four years and from their comments I now know that some clients see me as…
– An Akashic Records Reader
Other clients see me as…
– that woman who does ‘energy stuff‘.
Some clients come because they know I do Spiritual Mediumship work and want to be connected with their Loved Ones.
I also teach some forms of meditation and self-care.

So what is Soul Coaching?
Perhaps you are having more lucid dreams than you’ve ever had before.

Akashic Records Reading vs a Psychic Reading – what’s the difference?
A potential client recently asked me about the different between an Akashic Records Reading, versus a Psychic Reading. Great question!
To answer the questionI believe an Akashic Records reading is VERY different from a psychic reading.
My experiences (so far) of giving and receiving a Psychic Reading
During a psychic reading, or a psychic intuitive reading, a reader will use their intuitive senses, or ‘clairs’ to read information and energy for the client.
In the past, present, or future timeframes, a reader may relate what they see, hear feel and sense about the energetic potentials related to a clients’ questions.
It’s a bit like shining a spotlight on a little piece of your energy, one twinkle at a time.
An Akashic Records Reading is very different – it’s an energetic event!
When reading for clients I sometimes use the Pathway Prayer Process©* which takes me to the Heart of the Akashic Records, using the Akashic Energy to connect via my crown chakra, through my heart chakra, to yours. Often (but not always) clients can feel the Akashic Energy during the reading.
*As taught by Linda Howe.
That’s the first difference between an Akashic Records Reading and a Psychic or Intuitive Reading.
So, I check for energy flow, constantly ask the clients’ Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones*** for useful and validatable information and encourage all clients to focus and prepare at least some questions before they have a reading.
*** Please note the term ‘Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones’ refers to the specific group energies that people can connect to using Dr Linda Howe’s Pathway Prayer Process© as taught by Dr Linda Howe. As such this is different to the term ‘Ascended Masters’ used in other types of readings.
In an Akashic Records Reading there also needs to be a conversation going on between the Reader and the client
Think of your energy field like dough, kind of opaque in this dimension, which we are going to shine the light of the Akash upon in order to get the energy moving, bubbles to rise and get cooking.
Akashic energy rises on the formed word – which means, the more we talk about a problem/issue/circumstance, the more the energy rises.
As an Akashic Records Reader it is my job to describe the energy to you.
All of this helps to get the energy moving and good readings result.
There are three sections to a thorough Akashic Records Reading
Each reading is also structured into 3 sections…**
– The story, your story, issues or circumstance
– Causes and conditions – where we discuss ‘how, why, who?’ and get answers from your Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones
– The Soul Level Truth – what is REALLY going on.

The Pathway Prayer Process – into the Heart of the Akashic Records, Past Lives and beyond
In order to access the Akashic Records, I have been taught to use the Pathway Prayer Process. This is a very specific prayer that takes us to the Heart of the client’s Akashic Records.
So in summary, you can see there are quite a few differences between a Psychic, or Intuitive Reading and an Akashic Records Reading.

Our Spirit Guides
I often have clients contact me when they are interested in contacting their spirit guides as part of their spiritual awakening process.
This comes about for them as an awareness that there may be ‘someone there’.
Often during that falling asleep/waking up process where the brain is shifting through Alpha/Theta waves, people can experience seeing images (called hypnogogia by the psychological community), hear disembodied voices – called clairaudience by the spiritual community…or ‘sense’ that someone other than themselves is present in the room – an awareness of disembodied spirits or energies that it is very hard to explain logically to anyone!
These experiences can feel very real and raise the question for many…are these my spirit guides?
How to contact your spirit guides?
Well, you can do some work to reach out to your spirit guides too. It’s often been my experience that your spirit guides are working equally hard to reach out to you!
In my case, my spirit guides kept knocking on the door, or the veil that separates us in a number of ways.
My spirit guides were contacting me through dreams
Whether it was…
- a visit from a Loved One who has passed
- extremely lucid dreams where spiritual information was passed on, such as how to work with crystals or use energy work within a group
- dreams of gatherings with people I already know in this life
- how to clear negative energy from myself or surroundings
My spirit guides were contacting me through disembodied voice messages
On awakening/going to sleep I would hear instructions…
- “she needs to read the book”,
- look up the meaning of “diaspora”
- She needs to learn to “vibrate higher”.
My spirit guides were visiting me through waking visions
- often standing around my bed at night
- showing me images of sparkling lights or moving pictures (with my eyes open)
- as soon as I would close my eyes, ‘slide shows’ of many images would appear (and still do, if I allow it).
My spirit guides often visit by showing me premonitions
- simple things, such as seeing that a friend has cut their hair short before I meet them!
- more complex things – such as safety warnings
- they speak in my ear when I work with clients.
My spirit guides are present when I become aware of disembodied spirits or Loved Ones visiting
- pressure on the bed, or the bed shaking (my husband often complains and asks me what ‘I’m up to’ when the bed shakes! – it wakes him up…
- a face appearing behind my eyelids as soon as I close my eyes, along with a conversational attempt!
- a sense that ‘somebody’ is watching me…during the day my dog will growl often at the same time I feel a presence.
If you are going through a spiritual awakening – visits by your spirit guides or disembodied spirits can be worrying and downright nerve wracking!
Learning to embrace your gifts and communicate with your spirit guides is one of the main ways to get comfortable with all these happenings if they are present in your life.
Create a relationship with your Spirit Guides!
In my experience, the more we create a relationship with our spirit guides, the easier and more peaceful our lives become from the spiritual perspective.
We can then learn to use tools which enable us to manage our communication with spirit and the spiritual aspect of ourselves.
