How the Akash or Akashic Records are similar to the internet and google
When I learned to access my Akashic Records and those of clients, I was taught that the Records comprise of the following energies or entities, which/whom work together as a group energy when in the Records.
These energetic entities are…
- The Lords of the Akashic Records
- The Masters of the Akashic Records
- The Teachers of Your Akashic Records
- The Loved Ones of Your Akashic Records.
How do these energies work together in the realm of the Akash?
The way my teacher Linda Howe explained this mechanism (inasmuch as anything this multidimensional and mystical can be explained!) is as follows.
The Lords of the Akashic Records – we never see their faces, they retrieve information as asked from your Akash, almost passing it over their shoulders to you.
Non-corporeal Light Beings, they are the gatekeepers of the Records and maintain the integrity of the Records, preventing corruption of data.
The Masters of the Akashic Records – the Masters of the Records are also Light Beings (never having incarnated on the Planet).
Unlike the Masters, they work with individual Souls (e.g. you!) to help guide you on your soul’s journey.
The Teachers of Your Akashic Records – the Teachers are lesson specific and may be Light Beings or souls that have lived on this Planet. Appropriate Teachers are assigned for the duration of a lesson, whether that is a short lesson within your lifespan or a lesson spanning many lifetimes.
Again, the Teachers come through as a group energy, not as individual Teachers.
The Loved Ones of Your Akashic Records – these are people you have known in this lifetime who are now deceased.
If you often think of somebody close to you who has passed, or who you feel ‘watches over you’, then they may be one of your Loved Ones.
Why do these energies work as a group rather than singly?
Linda says it is because they want to avoid dependence on them or focus on one entity or energy unnecessarily. Their main concern is to pass information on to you.
How can I ‘google’ the Spiritual Internet?
Learning to access your own Akashic Records or having an Akashic Records Reading is one of the ways that you can receive this spiritual ‘download’.

The Akashic Records – it’s all about building a relationship with the energy of the Records
How do you know you’re going to get a ‘good’ Akashic Records Reading?
Well, here’s what I know and what I’ve been taught.
1. Ideally an Akashic Records Reader will avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours before a reading. (It makes the edges of the energy field floppy).
2. All information shared in the Reading will be kept completely private, unless you choose to share your information with others – that’s your perogative! Take notes if you need to. This means also that Readers will NOT read in groups – private readings only.
3. The Reader knows that if they can generate this energetic position for you – the reading is always better.
Hello, I love you, I get you…tell me your name!
If a Reader has done some of their work for this lifetime, they will be able to generate an atmosphere of acceptance during your reading and you will feel, loved, accepted and not judged.
This has nothing to do with romantic love, by the way, just to be clear!
The Reader will be able to share things with you from the Spiritual Perspective, so that you can learn new perspectives even about an old problem.
The Reader will also be concerned with continuing this practice, because it creates a better energetic relationship between the Reader and the Records…and the Readings are better as a result.
That’s how I go about giving readings. I also ask for your full legal name…it’s how we open the Book of Life (your Akashic Records).

What are the Akashic Records?
The Akashic Records, or Akash, is a Sanskrit word mean ‘sky’, ‘space’ or ‘ether’.
In spiritual practice, the Akash surrounds and penetrate our energy fields and hold all knowledge of our experiences, whether in this life or our past lives.
How to access the Akashic Records
I use the Pathway Prayer Process to access the Records, brought through into our consciousness by a teacher called Linda Howe, who wrote a book called ‘How to Read the Akashic Records, Accessing the Archive of the Soul and Its’ Journey‘. The Pathway Prayer Process was made available to her shortly after the tragic events of 9/11.
In the past these types of readings have been the territory of psychics and energy readers only.
In Linda Howe’s opinion (and mine too) reading our own Records is a powerful spiritual practice and I believe it’s now time for more people to learn about this area of our spirituality – it’s so helpful and can assist us with so many aspects of our lives.
The top 5 reasons to have an Akashic Records Reading
1. Accessing the Records helps us access our Soul Purpose and Soul Truths.
Soul Truths are not the same as life truths or everyday truths. There are many occasions in life where we begin to get in touch with our inner truths yet find ourselves unable to bring them into our everyday here and now lives. Yet they live within us, we sense the edges of them or find ways to become aware of them more fully – yet still having them be an integrated part of our lives can be something that feels impossible to do. It could be anything from a desire to create art through to an ‘inner knowing’ that something within you has gone unmet, and if you could just find a way…
2. Go deeper and safely into exploring strong or imbalanced emotions or a deeply emotional circumstance or subject.
Getting in touch with our Soul Truths can be a very empowering process. Things that we always somehow knew but couldn’t explain before become clear and can therefore be verbalized and worked with. Long-held yearnings for a seemingly unconnected or foreign activity have light cast upon them. That ‘hollow feeling’ or sense of ‘there must be more to life’ can be clarified and moved forward with information from your Akash.
3. Healing required – you can learn to work with the Akashic Records in specific ways to heal a long-standing issue or emotional trauma of some kind.
If you are struggling to heal from trauma or some kind of difficult life issue – this type of reading may be for you. Deep truths will be revealed.
4. You have specific questions and would really like some meaningful soul-level answers!
You can have a reading to gain clarity about many everyday affairs. Buying a house? The records of a house can be read as long as it is on the market. Worried about your pet? Again, we can read their records. Want to know if your partner is right for you? I would not read their records without permission – what we could cast light on is their place in your spiritual development.
5. Learning to read the Records is a beautiful part of our spiritual journey.
Perhaps you are looking for a deeper aspect to your spiritual practice or a greater connection with your Personal Energy.
This type of reading is easy to learn for yourself if you are so inclined and is a deep meditative method for internal reflection.
