Karmic Law of energy #1 – you can’t take from others by osmosis – without a karmic consequence!
There are many interesting concepts I receive as I regularly work with the energy of the Akashic Records, both for myself and for clients, one of the most fascinating is the concept of karmic law.
Over time I am becoming more and more aware of evidence that karmic law can really bite us in the butt, energetically speaking.
I’m sure many of us are aware of such karmic law concepts as ‘pay it forward’ and ‘what goes around comes around’, but how specifically can we become aware of deeper karmic laws, and more usefully, clear them from our energy field?
Enter Karmic Law of Energy #1.

Do you like it when someone else takes your idea and presents it as their own? Probably not. Yet this old idea has been with humanity for thousands of years and many of us have repeated it in past lives and this life, well-intentioned or with bad intentions. Either way, it’s still a bad idea.
We often like and admire others as we are growing up, and want to be like them. This is a perfectly natural function of self-discovery.
For example, I sat next to a girl in class in high school who had the most amazing eyelashes and always wore mascara. I wasn’t allowed to wear mascara until a certain age but I so wanted her eyelashes! I wanted to peel them off and put them on my eyes!
We all know though, that eyelashes don’t work that way. If I had peeled them off and successfully stuck them to my eyes, after a while they would have died and fallen apart. And they weren’t really part of me, but part of someone else, so what would have been the point? And this poor unsuspecting girl would have had no eyelashes.
Yet we still entertain this very bad idea on many levels and try to take all types of energy from other people so we can have what they have, or be like them, instead of getting in touch with ourselves and who we really are at the Soul Level.
So what are the karmic consequences of taking energy from someone else?
It may be that you have copied somebodys…
- idea or invention (think Ray Kroc and McDonald’s – a great movie to check out)
- fashion style or way of being
- literally ‘suck’ energy from someone else to make yourself feel better (this is where one of the concepts of ‘vampires’ comes from)
- take other people down in public or private so that you look better
- ____________________________ put your example here.
If you are really truthful with yourself, you have done this, and so have I.
This is why we have to have all that legalese surrounding the concepts of patents, business ideas, and concepts – even spiritual approaches are often patented and copyrighted!
You may be able to rest easy in your taking, for now, but at some point, that karmic law will bite you in the the butt, as I said earlier.
The universe will let you take energy – yet that creates a vacuum, so sooner or later, you will have to give that energy back because there is a deficit. Uh-oh.
The Akashic Records and Karmic Law
When I give Soul Star Akashic Readings, part of the reading involves a Soul Story which rises up from the Records, showing the client why specific issues, circumstances or results keep occurring in their lives. It can be extremely eye-opening for the client.
For an Akashic Reader like myself, it’s also an eye-opener and a cautionary tale.
Past Life arguments and unresolved power struggles, taking of energy essentially, stick to us like glue energetically speaking for life after life.
If they are not resolved in some way, they continue to be downloaded into our personal energy field in our current human incarnation and cause us no end of troubles.
Make no bones about it, the universe knows about give and take, and when you have taken, it will ask for you to give back!
On some level, I do believe most people know this, but since so many of our bad ideas are familiar and comfortable to us, we continue to keep acting them out on a repetitive basis.
I for one am ready to give up the idea of taking just because I ‘want’ something.
I know the healthier approach is to put my own energy, ideas, and creative focus into manifesting the life that I want. Do anything else, and we are living on borrowed time, energetically speaking.

Past Lives, fascinating stories
Often people are fascinated by the idea of Past Lives. In truth, it’s the greatest movie we’ve ever seen, the story of each of our Soul’s paths on the Journey to here (wherever that is).
It’s easy to go down the rabbit hole with Past Lives. Finding out that we love – or hate – a particular location because of our Past Lives association with it can be enlightening, scary and fascinating.
Perhaps you hate having things around your neck. (Even turtlenecks). People with this phobia often find out they were injured or killed in a Past Life by an attack to this area of the body.
Past Lives – the boy who knew too much
This latest fascinating story that has surfaced about The Boy Who Knew Too Much: An Astounding True Story of a Young Boy’s Past-Life Memories, a young child, Christian, who asserts that he was the famous baseball player Lou Gehrig in a past life, it’s every exciting, looks like a movie may even be made.
But what use is that, really? It feeds our curiousity and makes us more comfortable perhaps that we are occupying a continuous stream of lives along with our Soul Group or family members, who we will meet again and again. There is certainly peace to be found in that.
Past Lives – how to make this knowledge practical
But what if Past Lives are in one sense a rabbit hole? Wouldn’t it be better to use this information in a more practical way to become aware of our own personal limitations and repeated setbacks as part of a greater, repeating pattern – what I like to call the karmic spin cycle.
You get your washing to a certain point…but it never makes it out of the washer to the dryer for a whole new start, or wearing! So more detergent is added, more suds created, hot water in and then you are being rinsed once again.
What if you could clear the karmic consequences of Past Lives, rather than playing the same old movies over and over? That’s where my Soul Star Reading can be helpful.

New Energy Medicine
This week I watched a talk on Gaia.com with Donese Worden, M.D discussing new energy medicine.
Her approach is very scientific since she is an MD and she works hard to study the leading edge of effective energy medicine so that she can share the benefits with patients.
So are you ready for this?
Dr. Worden is setting up Light Life clinics in the US using cold laser therapies to affect each atom in the body and Personal Energy Field as a route to healing.
Many laser therapies are used diagnostically, some are used for athletes who can afford it, soon it will be time for more people to be able to receive treatments at the cellular level, making a lot of pharmaceutical drugs irrelevant.
After all, why would you want to repeatedly take a drug which may have any number of side effects when you could raise the healthy functioning of your entire cellular system with cold laser treatments which can be measured?
Cold Laser Therapy
The cold laser is FDA approved for the treatment of chronic pain, burns, lipodissolve, and neuromuscular reeducation. It is used by athletic teams to decrease pain in professional athletes. Unlike the “hot” lasers that are used for hair removal and other cosmetic purposes, the cold laser is a gentle therapy that works on an energetic level in the body to activate restorative and healing cellular responses.

Many of these treatments, as Dr. Worden says in her interview, are progressing so fast that traditional MDs cannot keep up with the developments.

Akashic Records – more than one way to gain access
Working and talking with a colleague yesterday, we were discussing different ways to access the Akashic Records.
My formal experience of accessing the Akashic Records has been with Linda Howe’s excellent Pathway Prayer Process©. Finding her book in 2010 led to a spiritual awakening, an energetic experience of the Akashic Records and a spontaneous ability to access the Akashic Records, giving readings for myself and others.
In the past I have noticed that many clients report a feeling of familiarity when I help them access their Records with my online coaching course, many even recognize the energy during an Akashic Records Reading.
Why is this?
I believe, as do many others including my teachers, that since the Akashic Records are all around us, surrounding and penetrating us, we have been able to shift our consciousness to the Records either with or without that set intention.
I often explain to clients that accessing the Akashic Records is a simple shift in consciousness. We do this in many ways in every day life. Consider for a moment how you are when you
– drive a car
– chill and watch tv
– study or work
– read a book
All these activities require a particular focus of attention or shift in consciousness, which is what I am talking about.
Slipping into the Akashic Records
So many people have ‘slipped’ or shifted into their Akashic Records without realizing it, hence why so many clients feel the familiarity of home with this energy when they work with me.
So, some ways I believe people can shift their consciousness and access the Akashic Records
1. Regular practice with the Pathway Prayer Process© will get you used to the feeling, sensations and awareness of being in the Akashic Records and connecting with your Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones.
2. One this is achieved, practicing yoga, kundalini work or meditative work and taking time to breathe deeply for 3 or 4 breaths. Asking for access to the Akashic Records. This intention will get you there – I’ve experienced visions and sensations to confirm this.
(I tried this process yesterday with very interesting results!).
3. By accident, perhaps entering the ‘zone’ when jamming on an instrument, singing, or writing.
4. Being in a beautiful place in nature and recognizing it as a home from a Past Life…or any place where you may have lived before.
5. Feeling you are surrounded by Masters, Teachers and/or Loved Ones all of a sudden.
6. Intuitive ‘connect the dots’ kinds of feelings – that ‘aha’ moment.

Akashic Records – what can you learn?
I know someone who calls the internet the ‘great big book of everything’.
It’s true, the internet contains a lot of information, good, bad and ugly. And so do your Akashic Records.
In my experience, the Akashic Records can inform, support and send us push notifications…just like the internet.
The Akashic Records also contain information that may be hard to hear or to learn about, just like the internet. Yet, when we are ready we can read this information, absorb the energy of it and learn to move on, older, wiser, more knowledgeable.
We can do that on the internet too.
Use the Akashic Records to connect spiritually
The Akashic Records though can offer us much more than a sense of connection.
The three basic tenets of the Akashic Records are
- Judge not
- Fear not
- Resist not
As identified by Linda Howe in “How to Read the Akashic Records,’ 2009, Sounds True, Inc.
Hint – remember good old Jafar from Aladdin — JaFaR – he Judged, Feared and Resisted his true nature because of ego – he was an amazing sorcerer but wanted to be the best, the biggest, the most powerful…and look where that got him.
Alone with his best/worst frenemy and his own ego…stuck inside a small lamp for eternity.
The Akashic Records – a space to be free of Judgement, Fear and Resistance
We have to be very focused with our searches on the internet to find material which does not contain Judgement, Fear and Resistance…and that’s because the internet is in the realm of every human awareness, everyday human consciousness.
When we access our Akashic Records it’s a given that we are free of the JaFaR’ish restrictions which can plague us in everyday life and even on the internet.
With the Akashic Records we can access our very own Great Big Book of Everything and learn!
Learn about the reasons for our own Judgements, the Judgements of others. Learn about our own Fears and the Fears of others. Learn about our own Resistance and clinging on to ideas, situations and relationships that no longer serve us.
We can learn all these things and more without the energy of Judgement, Fear and Resistance being present. We can even look at these 3 simple principles in multi-dimensional forms, considering our experiences in other lives, Past Lives as well as this one.
And yet there is still so much more to learn from your Akashic Records!
